FreeScan UE Pro is a wired, metrology-grade blue-laser 3D scanner for inspection, reverse engineering, and large-part measurement. Its three laser modes balance fast coverage, fine detail, and access to deep pockets, while integrated video photogrammetry helps control volumetric accuracy across larger workpieces.
FreeScan software included
FreeScan software is included with the scanner and supplied USB license dongle. It guides calibration, scanning, data editing, real-time meshing, data-quality review, and AI-assisted recognition of holes and slots. Scanner workflow updates are provided without a subscription.
Choose the workflow package
The base configuration is for teams that already have a validated inspection or reverse-engineering workflow. The EXModel Pro bundle adds a Shining 3D scan-to-CAD path. Shining 3D Inspect, BlueStar Mapping, extended protection, additional markers, and training are optional and are not included unless selected.
Important: FreeScan UE Pro uses markers for scanning. Its VPG mode removes the need for coded markers, but it does not make the full scanning workflow marker-free. The scanner does not capture color texture.
